ORDINANCE NO._, SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING SIGN CONCEPT PLAN REVIEW <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUNTY OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent: The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend Chapter 17 <br /> of the Pequot Lakes City Code relating to sign concept plans. <br /> Amendment: Chapter 17, Article 7 shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section 17-7.1 SIGNS <br /> 4. General <br /> H. Property owners seeking to o display more signs than what are <br /> allowed in this section or seeking allowances outside of what is <br /> allowed in this section, may obtain permission to do so with the <br /> approval of a sign concept plan. The sign concept plan shall <br /> contain all existing and proposed signage for the entire parcel. The <br /> Planning Commission shall review the sign concept plan and base <br /> its decision on the following: <br /> (1.) necessity of the additional signage, <br /> (2.) alternatives to additional signage, <br /> (3.) continuity with signage on adjacent parcels, <br /> (4.) aesthetic impacts, an d <br /> (5.) perceived effectiveness of proposed signage. <br /> 5. Onsite Signs. <br /> A.
