This <br /> program is administered by Region 5 Development Commission. <br /> The program is a loan with 3% interest for 5 years. New construction does not qualify, <br /> but after explaining your situation Region 5 has agreed to consider your application <br /> because your existing system is non-compliant, raising environmental issues. I am <br /> enclosing the application packet. Region 5 will require you to use a licensed, bonded <br /> Installer. You will not be eligible for reimbursement for any sweat equity for installing <br /> the existing,non-compliant system. <br /> Please look over the enclosed application packet. In addition to the 4 page application <br /> from Region 5, you need the following information: <br /> • A Design for a new system must be approved by this office before forwarding to <br /> Region 5; <br /> • A bid for installation of the complete system from a Licensed Installer. This <br /> needs to be a complete bid as the amount that is on the bid is all you will be <br /> allowed to draw. <br /> • $50 application fee made payable to R5DC. <br /> When your application is complete, bring it to this office and we will forward it to <br /> Region 5 for you. <br /> Attached is a list of Installers. Inspectors and Designers for your use.
