Board of Adjustment Direction: The Board of Adjustment can approve of the
variance application, deny the application, or table the request if additional information
is needed. If the motion is for approval or denial, findings of fact should be cited.
Staff Recommendation: The applicant has indicated that a licensed engineer will
submit a statement verifying the stormwater management facilities onsite can manage
the runoff produced by the 52%impervious surface coverage.
At the time this report was written, said letter has not been received. We recommend
that application be approved without any conditions, if the letter referenced earlier in
this report from a licensed engineer is received prior to the meeting.
If the letter is not received before the meeting, we recommend the application be tabled
until that information is available.
Note: If the application is not approved at the February meeting, the prior preliminary
and final plat applications for the subject property will need to be denied at the
upcoming City Council meeting due to statutory requirements regarding decision maldng
timeframes.
Pequot Lakes Staff Report 4(a)-4
February 21,2013
