The development was platted in 1925 at which time <br /> both River Street and Central Avenue (currently known as Mayo Lake Lane) were <br /> dedicated to the public. It appears that River Street was never improved. Currently, it is <br /> heavily vegetated. It contains a privately installed boardwalk across a wetland area and a <br /> dock extending into Mayo Lake. <br /> A question has been raised by a property owner as to whether or not these private <br /> improvements are allowed and whether or not this right-of-way serves a public purpose. <br /> The Planning Commission shall discuss the right-of-way in question and consider what <br /> action(if any) should be taken regarding it and the private improvements. <br /> Mil <br /> i <br /> � I <br /> Pequot Lakes Staff Report 7(b)-1 <br /> September 18,2014 <br />
