C()MMIJN ITY C'ge <br /> GKOw•r" Peq <br /> INSTITUTE �� <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> Application: Conditional Use Permit to Operate a Water Well Drilling Business <br /> Applicant: Northstar Well Drilling <br /> Agenda Item:4(a) <br /> Background Information: The applicant is requesting a conditional use permit to <br /> operate a water well drilling business on the property located at 29621 State Highway <br /> 371. The subject property is 2 acres and is zoned, "Commercial." The property contains <br /> one structure; a 75' x 60' "commercial building." The property is served by a private <br /> water supply and a private sewer system. The sewer system is designed for 250 gallons <br /> per day and was installed in 2002. The system was found to be compliant in June 2014. <br /> The proposed business will operate three well drilling rigs based in the proposed <br /> location. There will also be pump repair and routine service of the drill rigs onsite. The <br /> business employ nine people.
