Mike Loven requested the Council to authorize the City Engineer to move <br /> forward with the design of Old Highway 371. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> ENGINEER TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE DESIGN OF OLD <br /> HIGHWAY 371. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. <br /> Council Member Sjoblad reminded the Council to give the City Engineer <br /> design criteria early on in the process as this will save the City time and <br /> money. Mayor Adams stated that it is also important to keep the citizens <br /> informed about the project. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> D. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City <br /> Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement <br /> actions. We will report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the <br /> satisfaction of the Planning Commission. <br /> ➢ Virgil Dahl —The City Attorney is filing the necessary documents with the <br /> Court. (10/06 to present) <br /> ➢ Peterson, Gary— Extensive grading. Staff advised Mr. Peterson to file the <br /> Notice of Termination with the MPCA. (7/08) <br /> ➢ John and Barbara Derksen — Exterior storage. This matter has been sent to <br /> the City Attorney. (5/13) <br /> ➢ Cathi McBryde — Exterior storage. Some of the items have been removed. <br /> Staff will monitor her progress. (5/13) <br /> ➢ Carter McAnnich — Exterior storage and abandoned vehicles. Some of the <br /> items have been removed. Staff will monitor his progress. (5/13) <br /> ➢ Gorton Properties LLC — Exterior Storage. Property owner is making <br /> progress removing the items stored outside. (8/13) <br /> ➢ James Byrne —Accessory Structure exceeds maximum building height. <br /> (8/13) <br /> I <br /> ➢ Doug Steele — Exterior Storage and Abandoned Vehicles.
