City Of MEMO <br /> Pe q not <br /> Lakes <br /> TO: Pequot Lakes Police Department <br /> Pequot Lakes Fire Department <br /> FROM: Dawn Bittner, Zoning Administrator <br /> DATE: December 30, 2013 <br /> RE: Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC <br /> The current Conditional Use Permit for Wilderness Resort allows <br /> an 8 foot walking path along the point, with vehicular traffic <br /> banned; I have highlighted this path on the attached site plan and <br /> also include a photo of this area from 2011. <br /> The developer is proposing to allow vehicles in this area for <br /> maintenance, golf carts for resort guests and to "Provide that <br /> emergency motorized vehicles dispatched by police or fire <br /> departments or medical aid providers be allowed to utilize the <br /> walking path. " <br /> I don't believe this needs to be outlined in the CUP; there appears <br /> to be sufficient space should emergency vehicles need to access <br /> this part of the resort. <br /> In addition, the developer is proposing to construct a 3-story lodge <br /> and to reconfigure the location of some of the lots. I have included <br /> a copy of the lodge concept. <br />
