Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. February Permits: The following permits were issued over the last <br /> month by the Zoning Department: <br /> 1. There were no Land Use Permits issued in February. <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since <br /> the last meeting: <br /> 1. February 25 letter to Ryan Buell regarding Metes and Bounds Subdivision <br /> approval; <br /> 2. February 27 letter to Russell Powell regarding shoreline rip rap. <br /> C. Council Meeting Notes: <br /> ➢ The City Council Meeting was held March 4 and an excerpt of the <br /> dram Minutes are included: <br /> 9.3. North Washington Avenue Improvements <br /> Tim Houle reviewed the North Washington Avenue Street Improvement <br /> Plans. He requested the Council to authorize the advertisement of bids. He <br /> stated that he hopes to have the bids in front of the Council on April 1St with <br /> a construction start sometime in the middle of August and completed by <br /> winter. <br /> Council Member Pederson stated he would like to see the cost to add <br /> pedestrian seating and lighting. He explained that the Planning Commission <br /> is looking at the Downtown Plan and have discussed amenities such as <br /> benches and lighting. It was the consensus of the Council to have the City <br /> Engineer add lights and benches as an alternate bid. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR PUBLIC BIDS FOR THE NORTH WASHINGTON <br /> AVENUE PROJECT AND TO INCLUDE AN ALTERNATE BID FOR <br /> BENCHES AND LIGHTS. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> D. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City <br /> Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement <br /> March 20, 2014 Staff Report Page 1 <br />
