Pequot Lakes Staff Report 6 - 1 <br />February 18, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS – CITY COUNCIL ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Item: 6 (a) <br /> <br />Background Information: The City Council held a Special Meeting January <br />28 to discuss organizational goals. Each department provided current, mid- <br />range and long-range goals. A copy of the Goals Spreadsheet is included, as well <br />as the draft Minutes. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission was charged with the following directives: <br />• Review the Future Land Use Map as it relates to the realignment of TH <br />371; and <br />• Provide designated off-site parking for vendors and other support <br />personnel during downtown festivals and gatherings so that the public <br />space is not cluttered with vehicles and parking is available for patrons <br />and visitors. <br /> <br />The City Engineer is preparing a map that includes our current Future Land Use <br />Map and the new alignment of TH 371 to use in our discussions. <br /> <br />Zoning Specialist Bittner is meeting with the Chamber Director regarding <br />parking. <br /> <br />These items will appear on upcoming Agendas as information is collected. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
