Pequot Lakes Staff Report 7 (a) - 1 September 17, 2015 OLD BUSINESS – NATHAN WALBERG CUP REVIEW Agenda Item: 7 (a) Background Information: At the August Planning Commission meeting Staff was directed to look into the Conditional Use Permits for the other two used car lots regarding the display and sale of used boats. The comparison for the three used car lots are: Pequot Lakes Auto Sales (Mark Schoeb) • 2004 CUP for Motor Vehicle Sales and Service (retail car lot and detail center included in Staff Report) Conditions: 1. Employee parking, customer parking and parking of sales units shall occur within the bituminous paved surface. There shall be no parking in Green space areas or on public right-of-way. 2. The applicant shall provide an evaluation of the sewage treatment system from a licensed designer indicating that the system is sized adequately for the total demand for the site. 3. Grading of the paved surfaces shall be towards the indicated retention area. Direct runoff of stormwater to adjacent parcels is prohibited. The retention area shall be maintained to provide sufficient capacity for stormwater runoff from the site. 4. Landscaping plan as noted on certificate of survey be planted within one year of bituminous surface being installed. ******* Dotty Auto Company (Joe Dotty) • 2002 CUP for Motor Vehicle Sales Lot (sell motor vehicles included on CUP Recording Document) Conditions: 1. Screening plan submitted to P & Z for approval. Screening be constructed prior to August 1, 2003. 2. Pole Building not be used for habitation, or other than identified in CUP. 3. Current Compliance Inspection for septic system submitted to the city. 4. CUP permit be reviewed in 3 years. 5. All State Licenses be current and on file with the City. 6.
