� <br />City Of <br />Pequot <br />La.kes <br />Date: <br />AGENDA ITEM #11.3 <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />May 1, 2012 <br />Subiect: Local Board of Review Duties - Transfer to <br />County <br />Report: In 2009, the City Council voted to transfer the <br />`- assessment and local board duties to the Crow Wing <br />County Board for a three-year period (2010 - 2012). The <br />three-year period expires at the end of 2012. The Council <br />has two options: <br />`.. <br />1. Continue using the open book process (through the <br />County). <br />2. Revert back to having a local Board of Appeal (the <br />City Council is the Local Board of Appeal). If this option is <br />chosen, we will need at least two Council Members to <br />attend training which is offered through the Office of the <br />State Auditor. <br />Council Action Requested: Council motion regarding the <br />method of appeal. <br />
