Report: There is presently one opening on the Economic <br /> Development Commission. Attached is an application from <br /> Chris Lindholm to fill this vacancy. Mr. Lindholm currently <br /> attends the EDC meetings on behalf of the Pequot Lakes <br /> School but is not a voting member of the Commission. <br /> Although Mr. Lindholm is not a resident or business owner of <br /> the City, he has a vested interest in the community as <br /> Superintendent of Pequot Lakes Schools and he is instrumental <br /> in bringing forth collaborative ideas and visions relating to <br /> economic development to the meetings. <br /> Council Action Requested: Mayor's recommendation to <br /> appoint Chris Lindholm to the Economic Development <br /> Commission followed by Council motion and vote. The <br /> member will be appointed for a three-year term expiring on <br /> 12/31/18. <br />
