Consider Revised Snowplowinq Policv <br />Mike Loven presented the revised snowplowing policy. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO ADOPT THE <br />SNOWPLOWING POLICY. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />9.2. Consider Bids for Paintinq Cole Memorial Buildinq <br />Mike Loven presented the Council with two quotes for painting the Cole <br />Memorial Building. He noted that the cost is higher than anticipated due to <br />the lead contact in the existing paint. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACCEPT THE BID FROM <br />GANSKE'S QUALITY PAINTING FOR $9,340 TO PAINT THE COLE <br />MEMORIAL BUILDING. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. <br />Council Member Akerson questioned if there was lead in the paint in the <br />inside of the building. Mike Loven noted that there was not. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />9.3. Trailside Park Update <br />Mike Loven noted that the DNR has begun negotiations with the staff <br />regarding the possibility of the City acquiring the park. <br />10. Citv Enaineer Report <br />10.1. Consider Bids for Government Drive Proiect <br />Tim Houle explained that the City received finro bids for the project with Tri- <br />City Paving coming in as the lowest bidder. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO AWARD THE CONTRACT <br />TO TRI CITY PAVING AT $106,804.45 FOR THE GOVERNMENT DRIVE <br />PROJECT. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Council Member Sjoblad suggested expanding the project due to the low <br />bid. He suggested replacing the sidewalks in front of the buildings that <br />need to be repaired. Council Member Ryan questioned if this was the <br />�. highest priority for use of the excess funds. <br />
