It is our understanding that you are interested in <br />completing a boundary survey of the portion of the property you will be receiving from the DNR, along <br />with the location of any existing improvements on these tracts. Our survey will be based on the legal <br />description prepared by the DNR on Oct. 26, 2012 and revised Apr. 5, 2013, which you have provided <br />us with. <br />During our review of this legal description, we found there to be portions containing dimensional <br />references to the trail centerline, for which a location is not specified. For the purposes of this <br />proposal, we assume the trail centerline will be as described on the attached unsigned Paul Bunyan <br />Trail Pequot Lakes Survey prepared by the DNR. If this is not the case, it will result in a change to <br />our scope and cost indicated below. The survey drawing also contains references to easements, <br />leases and other use areas. The status of these are unknown at this time, but should become <br />evident upon title review by the City Attorney. <br />The scope of services we propose to provide and the associated estimated cost are as follows: <br />Survev Services <br />Use previous WSN survey information and the above referenced legal description as provided <br />as the basis of our work. <br />Locate and verify existing monuments or establish new monuments at the corners and angle <br />points along the boundaries of the new tracts and locate any existing improvements present <br />on the new tracts. <br />Prepare a Certificate of Survey drawing showing our findings and provide 4 paper copies and <br />an electronic pdf version of the final Certificate of Survey for your use. <br />Estimated Cost $2,200.00 <br />We understand that upon our completion of the boundary survey, the City Attorney will perform a title <br />search of the surveyed property.
