MINUTES <br />CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />SAFETY COMMITTEE <br />MAY 9, 2013 <br />8:30 AM <br />PRESENT: Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Mike Loven, Public Works Supervisor; and Dawn <br />Bittner, Safety Secretary. <br />ABSENT: Tom Nelson, Fire Chief; Eric Klang, Police Chief; and Dave Sjoblad, Council <br />Liaison. <br />1. Review of Minutes: <br />A motion was made by Sandy Peine, seconded by Mike Loven, to approve the June 7, <br />2012 Minutes, as read. <br />2. Emer�encv Resnonse Plan: <br />The draft Emergency Response Plan was reviewed with several changes to be made. <br />Bittner will make final edits to the Plan and forward to the City Council for adoption. <br />Once adopted Bittner will place the Plan on the X-Drive and inform City Employees <br />where it is located. <br />3. Mock OSHA Inspection: <br />The Mock OSHA Inspection completed by Kurt Rothwell, MMUA Safety Coordinator, <br />on July 21, 2010 was reviewed. The only remaining item is the electrical cord hanging <br />through the ceiling tiles in the warkout room. Tom Nelson had stated he would try to <br />have that taken care of when they have some other electrical work completed. <br />The other items in question were: <br />#5 — Police Garage: GFI Outlets needed in damp areas; location unknown; <br />#8 — Tool Room: Fire Department equipment on floor; Tom Nelson painted area <br />to keep clear; he will enforce; <br />It was the consensus of the group to contact the MMUA Safety Coordinator to schedule <br />another Mock OSHA Inspection, possibly in December when he is in Pequot Lakes. <br />4. MMUA Safetv Trainin�: <br />Bittner informed the group that she has requested additional training from the new <br />MMUA Safety Coordinator, Dave Lundberg. The courses requested were: AWAIR, <br />
