CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION 15- <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE "LAKES PROUD" CAMPAIGN <br /> WHEREAS, the mission of the "Lakes Proud" project is to grow the regional <br /> economy by creating an understanding that it matters where consumer and <br /> business dollars are spent; and <br /> WHEREAS, in recognition of local business contributions that support and <br /> strengthen our community, the City of Pequot Lakes hereby resolves to support <br /> the regional "Lakes Proud" campaign by actively encouraging its staff to identify, <br /> compare, pursue, and consider local options when purchasing products and <br /> services. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES, MINNESOTA is in support of the "Lakes Proud" program and expresses <br /> its gratitude to the creators and supporters of this program because we all have <br /> the power to strengthen our economy. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 1st day of December, <br /> 2015. <br /> David Sjoblad <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Nancy Malecha <br /> City Administrator/Clerk <br />
