AGENDA ITEM #9.1
City of
Pe not
Lakes----_z_.--___
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Report Prepared by: Tim Houle
Date: November 3, 2015
Subject: County Jurisdictional Transfer Agreement
Report: As a follow-up to the June 2016 Roadway Turn
Back Memorandum of Agreement with the County, here is
a more formal Jurisdictional Transfer Agreement for
segments of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 11,
County Road (CR) 112, and existing State Highway 371 .
There will be a future effective date of release (tentatively
the spring of 2018) of these roadways to the City, with a
review with the County prior to this date to determine if
there are any environmental or any final maintenance
activities are required from the State or the County.
Prior to the effective date of release, the City will need to
determine names for these roadway segments. This
Agreement also includes the payments by the County to the
City in lieu of any construction on these roadway segments
by the County.
