MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> The consensus of the Council was to reduce the general revenue tax levy <br /> to 2.99%. The Council directed the City Administrator to work with staff to <br /> compile a list of budget changes to accomplish this. <br /> 10.2. Lease Agreement for Postage Machine <br /> Nancy Malecha informed the Council that the current postage machine <br /> lease with MailFinance will expire at the end of the month. The City <br /> currently pays $160.22 per month. Two companies were contacted, <br /> Dakota Mailing and MailFinance, to offer quotes on machine options. She <br /> recommended that the City enter into a lease agreement with MailFinance <br /> for an IN600 AF Hasler mailing machine. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE LEASE <br /> AGREEMENT WITH MAILFINANCE TO LEASE AN IN600 AF HASLER <br /> MAILING MACHINE AT $154.99 FOR 63 MONTHS. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.3. Consider Employment Agreement <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH NANCY MALECHA, CITY <br /> ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 7, 2015, WITH <br /> CLARIFICATION THAT THE SALARY INCREASE BE <br /> RETROACTIVELY EFFECTIVE ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2015 PER <br /> PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION FROM SEPTEMBER 23, 2015. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.4. DJV Consulting Agreement <br /> The Agreement between the City and DJV Consulting LLC. was <br /> presented. Dan Vogt explained that he provides local government <br /> services to local communities and he has 37 plus years of governmental <br /> experience. Mr. Vogt further noted that he is currently an administrative <br /> consultant with the cities of Little Falls and Crosslake. <br /> The consensus of the Council was to continue to have Mr. Vogt attend a <br /> few of the upcoming Council meetings as they transition to the City <br /> Administrator position. <br />
