City of <br /> AGENDA ITEM # 9.2 <br /> Pc not it Lakes <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Dawn Bittner <br /> Date: October 6, 2015 <br /> Subject: Master Park Plan <br /> Report: The City's current Master Park Plan was adopted <br /> January 8, 2013. This Plan is outdated and is in need of <br /> being updated to better represent our current park system. <br /> In the 2016 preliminary Park Budget, there is $5,000 <br /> allocated for park plan development. This amount was <br /> quoted by Justin Burslie, the City Planner, on the services <br /> he could provide to update the Master Park Plan to include <br /> all City parks. <br /> Council Member Pederson brought forth a quote from SAS <br /> + Associates for a proposal to expand Trailside Park. This <br /> plan would include the vacation of State Highway 371 from <br /> CSAH 11 to Sibley Street and include Bobber Park. At <br /> their September 10 meeting the Park Board voted 6 — 1 in <br /> favor of recommending the City Council proceed with <br /> Phase One of the Master Plan for the expansion of Trailside <br />
