City Council Minutes <br />April 2, 2013 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />----------------------------- <br />CONTINGENCY FUND. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />10.3. Conflict of Interest Oainion <br />The Council reviewed the attorney's opinion on the Conflict of Interest. <br />Discussion was held regarding the cost to prepare the opinion. It was the <br />consensus of the Council to have Council Member Pederson discuss the <br />charges with the City Attorney. <br />10.4. Librarv Board Appointment <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPOINT RENEE MOODIE TO THE <br />LIBRARY BOARD EFFECTIVE IMMETIATELY WITH HER TERM TO <br />RUN THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2015. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />10.5. Council Visioninq Update <br />The Mayor updated the Council on the progress that has been made on <br />the Council's priorities. <br />11. Other Business /.ii� "�%%f%������!� <br />The Mayor informed the Council that the Kitchigami Library Board has <br />decided to reinstate the funding for the Pequot Lakes and Crosslake <br />libraries. She noted that she is very grateful to the Kitchigami Library <br />Board. <br />The Mayor thanked staff for the improvements to the Council Chambers. <br />12. Adiournment <br />There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br />MOVED TO ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER <br />SECONDED THE MOTION.
