July 21, 2015 <br /> Pequot Lakes Housing & Redevelopment Authority <br /> Commissioners present: Robert Ritter, Bob Peterson, Jane Ness, Clara Nelson <br /> Also present: Executive Director-Barb Carlson, Assistant Director-Deb Hays, Maintenance Engineer-Brad <br /> Moser <br /> *Call Regular Meeting to Order <br /> 5:16 p.m. Chairman Ritter called the meeting to order. <br /> *Consider Agenda/Changes <br /> No Changes. <br /> *Consent Agenda/Regular Meeting <br /> Motion to accept the Minutes, Payment of the Bills and Financials. <br /> Moved by Ness, Seconded by Peterson,All Ayes; Motion carried <br /> *West Grove <br /> No Business <br /> *Sibley Terrace <br /> No Business <br /> *ParkView <br /> Brief discussion about hallway carpet cleaning in both buildings. Parkview II is completed and Parkview I <br /> has begun. <br /> *Alpine <br /> Open unit has been rented. Informational discussion regarding one of the Alpine units not being <br /> subsidized. <br /> *Executive Director's Report <br /> No Business <br /> *Maintenance Engineer's Report <br /> Parkview II children appear to be abiding by the rules for the new handicap path to the playground. <br /> *Other Business <br /> No other business. <br /> *Open Forum <br /> Parkview I tenant expressed concern about another tenant's friend bringing a large dog into the building. <br /> Same tenant has girlfriend staying every night. A second Parkview I tenant had concerns about people <br /> smoking inside their apartments after office hours. Names on tenant boards need to be updated. <br /> Executive Director Carlson stated tenants are not required to have their names on the tenant board if they <br /> wish not to; due to Data Privacy laws. Tenant told City Council member, Akerson, she was concerned <br /> because she heard the county bus service would no longer be in service in Pequot Lakes and asked about a <br /> bench being placed half-way between Parkview I Apartments and the Dollar General store. Akerson said <br /> he would check into these concerns. Akerson stated MNDOT would start clearing this fall for the new <br /> bypass. A board member expressed her views on MNDOT tearing down Sibley Hall without contacting <br /> Habitat for Humanity to remove reusable items. <br /> *Adjournment <br /> 5:40 p.m. meeting adjourned. <br /> Moved by Ness, Seconded by Ritter,All Ayes; Motion carried. <br /> Chrm.
