Park Board Minutes <br />February 9, 2012 <br />Page 3 <br />� ------------------------- <br />The Clerk stated that Faye Tweed has stated she will continue to <br />plant and care for the flowers in Bobber Park. The Commission <br />stated that many of the existing flower beds in Trailside Park need <br />to be weeded. <br />d. Bands in the Park <br />Cathy Malecha stated that she had a band schedule for the Bands <br />in the Park Program. The Commission discussed the idea of <br />forming a Friends of the Park Commission, which could be a non- <br />profit organization. The group could then raise funds for Park <br />programs. <br />7. Park Survev Review <br />The Commission reviewed the results of survey that was taken in 2011. <br />8. Park Plan Discussion <br />The Park Commission indicated that there is a need for a master park <br />plan. It was the consensus of the commission to review the Breezy Point <br />� Park Plan and discuss at the next Park Commission meeting. <br />9. Other Business <br />Jeff Bruch gave an update on a meeting that was held with the DNR <br />regarding the possibility of the DNR selling the Park to the City. He noted <br />that they are in the beginning of negotiations. <br />Discussion was held regarding a request to park in the center of Trailside <br />Park during the car show. <br />Discussion was held regarding placing three flags on the posts by the <br />Band Stand. The Commissioners requested to see the ordinance <br />regulations on temporary signs. <br />10. Adiournment <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER BRUCH MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD SECONDED <br />THE MOTION.
