Brainerd Fire was awarded this grant on <br />`. Feb 3, 2012. The County is currently working with Motorola directly to get <br />the best pricing on the radios. Once the County & Motorola reach an <br />agreement, the radios will be purchased. When the radios are purchased, <br />Pequot Lakes Fire is obligated to a 20% match for the radios we have <br />requested. The Fire Department has put money for this project into our <br />Capital Outlay Carryover fund. We are working in a small window since the <br />county wants to switch to the new system in May.
