The Council made no changes to this budget. <br /> • Cemetery <br /> The proposed expenditures for the 2009 Cemetery budget are $430. <br /> This is a decrease of$150 from the 2008 budget. The Council made no <br /> changes to this budget. <br /> • Highway 371 <br /> The proposed expenditures for the 2009 Highway 371 budget are <br /> $38,000. This is 0% increase from the 2008 budget. The Council made <br /> no changes to this budget. <br /> • Storm Water Management <br /> The proposed revenues for the 2009 Storm Water Management budget <br /> are $104,850. This is a $42,920 increase from the 2008 budget. The <br /> proposed expenditures for the 2009 Storm Water Management budget <br /> are $106,150. This is a $14,970 increase from the 2008 budget. The <br /> increase is due to engineering fees, postage, repair and maintenance <br /> and capital outlay (South Oak Street Project.) The Council made no <br /> changes to the budget. <br /> • Council <br /> The proposed 2009 Council budget is $40,940. This is an increase of <br /> $9,080 from the 2008 budget. The Council requested to carry over the <br /> 2007 Council Contingency line item and eliminate the 2009 Council <br /> Contingency amount of$10,000. <br /> • Clerk <br /> The proposed 2009 Clerk budget is $214,370. This is an increase of <br /> $7,930 from the 2008 budget. The main reason for the increase is due <br /> to wages. Discussion was held regarding the audit cost. The Council <br /> requested the Clerk to ask for bids from other audit firms. The Council <br /> decided not to join the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities. The <br /> Council made no changes to this budget. <br /> • Election <br />
