PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2015 <br /> SIBLEY LAKE PARK AND TRAILSIDE PARK <br /> Members Present: Chair Malecha, Commissioners Bruch, Nagel, Ettesvold, Nordby, <br /> and Ronning <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Caouette <br /> Also Present: Mike Loven, Public Works Supervisor; and Sandy Peine, City Clerk. <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Malecha called the meeting to order at 5:06 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER RONNING MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. <br /> COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> Commissioner Ronning noted that Council Member Karr was stated as being <br /> present at the May meeting and he was absent. <br /> COMMISSIONER RONNING MOVED TO APPROVE THE MAY 14, 2015, <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES AS CORRECTED. COMMISSIONER <br /> ETTESVOLD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 4. Sibley Lake Park <br /> Clerk Peine explained that the City Council authorized the Park Commission to <br /> design a plan to remove the steps to Sibley Lake and to add vegetation. She <br /> noted that the July Park Commission meeting will focus on the plan. <br /> Lights <br /> Mike Loven asked the Commission where lights should be placed in the park. <br /> Commissioner Nordby offered to look at the park during dusk and report to the <br /> Commission at the next Park Commission meeting with a recommendation for <br /> placement of lights. <br />
