This list is not all inclusive. Job descriptions and <br /> requirements may change at any time due to state guidelines/regulations. <br /> Note: Experience on the Pequot Lakes Fire Department of 10 years or more as of December <br /> 2006 supersedes required schooling for officers. <br /> SECRETARY <br /> Requirements <br /> • Same as basic firefighter , <br /> Job Description <br /> • Same as basic firefighter plus the following:, <br /> • Minimum of 5 years on Pequot Lakes Fire Department <br /> • Records minutes of all business, officer and special meetings <br /> • Responsible for general checkbook account <br /> • Responsible for all billing of fire/rescue calls <br /> • Responsible for updating calls and meetings in the computer system <br /> • Responsible for incident reporting—N.F.I.R.S. <br /> • Responsible for reporting wages to city clerk at end of year(totaling calls and meetings) <br /> • Liaison/chairperson for fire board—attends quarterly fire board meetings <br /> • Supplies city council with monthly fire department activities—calls, trainings, extra <br /> information <br /> Rev 5/2015 <br />
