City Council Minutes <br /> May 5, 2015 <br /> Page 2 of 9 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> 5. Presentations <br /> 5.1. 2014 City Audit <br /> Mary Reedy from CliftonLarsonAllen presented the audit findings for 2014. <br /> She noted that they encountered no difficulties or disagreements and no <br /> legal compliance findings and that the City was issued a clean audit. Mary <br /> Reedy reviewed the funds and noted that the City is financially stable with <br /> a strong fund balance. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACCEPT THE 2014 AUDIT. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 6.2. Engineering Proposal for Easement Work <br /> Dawn Bittner explained that WSN has submitted a proposal, as requested <br /> by City Staff for easement review services. City staff is requesting to have <br /> WSN review the existing utility easements to verify location of the <br /> easements and to locate the easements on a map. <br /> MAYOR SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE EASEMENT REVIEW <br /> SERVICES PROPOSAL FROM WSN AT $2,500. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 6.3. Ordinance Amendment Regarding Public Use in Business Park <br /> Dawn Bittner explained that the Planning Commission is recommending <br /> an ordinance amendment to exclude public use in the light industrial zone <br /> based on the following findings of fact: <br /> 1. The amendment reserves all space within the Industrial/Business <br /> Park for uses that will pay property tax and will employ people. <br /> 2. The amendment is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan. <br />
