CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />RESOLUTION 24-15 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS AND/OR GRANTS FROM <br />MARCH 1, 2024, THROUGH MARCH 28 2024 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Pequot Lakes is generally authorized to accept <br />donations of real and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section <br />465.03 for the benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to accept gifts <br />and bequests for the benefit of recreational service pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Section 471.17; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The following persons and entities have offered to contribute the <br />cash sums set forth below to the City: <br /> <br />Name of Donor Amount Requested Use of Contribution or Grant <br /> <br />See attached list of donors <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA that all donations and/or grants described above are <br />hereby graciously accepted by the City of Pequot Lakes and shall be used as <br />requested by the donors or grant requirements. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council expresses its gratitude to the <br />donors of the gifts. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 1st day of April, <br />2024. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Tyler Gardner <br />ATTEST: Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Angie Duus <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />
