Application available: February 5, 2024 <br />Submission deadline: May 29, 2024 <br /> <br />All entities will be notified by email whether funding was <br />awarded or not by June 28, 2024. <br /> • Each entity may submit one Community Impact <br />Funding application. <br /> • The proposed project must be impactful within <br />your community, including through improvements <br />to existing local government facilities, equipment <br />needs, or providing technology upgrades required for <br />performing the applicant’s government function. <br /> • Because of the basic needs of our communities, <br />such as building repairs/remodels, maintenance <br />equipment, and office technology, we will not <br />be accepting applications for projects such as <br />pickleball courts, splashpads, baseball fields, <br />park improvements, etc. <br /> • Applications must request between $20,000 and <br />$50,000. <br /> • All applications must have a signed resolution in <br />support of the project from the governing body of the <br />applicant. <br /> • The project cannot begin until the funding agreement <br />has been executed and funding has been awarded. <br />Public Safety entities (law enforcement, fire departments, <br />municipal ambulance services, first response teams) or <br />public safety projects are not eligible for this funding <br />opportunity due to upcoming funding opportunities <br />specific to their needs. <br />Past project examples: <br /> • Repairs to city hall to improve functionality <br /> • Upgrades to replace unreliable and outdated <br />maintenance equipment <br /> • Enhancements to technology in city-owned businesses <br />buildings to improve customer and employee <br />experience <br /> <br />Community Impact Funding <br />For local governments <br />2024-25 <br />Contact: <br />Amy Piekarski <br />Community Solutions Specialist <br />218-821-0813 <br />amy.piekarski@sourcewell-mn.gov <br />Helping local governments better serve their communities <br />Scan here or apply at <br />sourcewell.co/impact
