ORDINANCE NUMBER 24-01, SECOND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE <br />REGARDING ACCESSORY STRUCTURE IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES <br />CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />COUNTY OF CROW WING <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br />Purt)ose and Intent: The purpose and intent of this ordinance is to amend Chapter 17 of the Pequot Lakes City <br />Code regarding accessory structures in Residential Zones. <br />Amendment: Chapter 17, Article 5 shall be amended as follows: <br />Section 17-5.6 RURAL RESIDENTIAL MR) <br />1. Performance Standards. The following performance standards apply to all <br />development in this zone: <br />E. Accessory Structure. A permit shall not be requirea for up to two accessory <br />structures totaling no more than 160 square feet. Accessory structures shall <br />meet all zoning; requirements in this Section. Ground -mounted solar panel <br />installations shall not count against this limit. <br />Section 17-5.7 TRANSITION RESIDENTIAL JTRJ <br />Performance Standards. The following performance standards apply to all <br />development in this zone: <br />D. Accessory Structure. A permit shall not be required for up to two accessory <br />structures totaling no more than 160 square feet. Accessory structures shall <br />meet all zoning requirements in this Section.
