CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />RESOLUTION 24-01 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS AND/OR GRANTS FROM <br />DECEMBER 01, 2023 THROUGH DECEMBER 26, 2023 <br />WHEREAS, The City of Pequot Lakes is generally authorized to accept <br />donations of real and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section <br />465.03 for the benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to accept gifts <br />and bequests for the benefit of recreational service pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Section 471.17; and <br />WHEREAS, The following persons and entities have offered to contribute the <br />cash sums set forth below to the City-. <br />Name of Donor <br />See attached list of donors <br />Amount Requested Use of Contribution or Grant <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA that all donations and/or grants described above are <br />hereby graciously accepted by the City of Pequot Lakes and shall be used as <br />requested by the donors or grant requirements. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council expresses its gratitude to the <br />donors of the gifts. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 2"d day of January, <br />2024. <br />ATTEST: <br />Angie Duus <br />City Administrator <br />Tyler Gardner <br />Mayor <br />
