Park Board Minutes <br />August 7, 2013 <br />Page 2 <br />------------------------- <br /> <br /> The Commissioners talked about the need for public restrooms. Mike <br />Loven stated that the Council authorized two portable outhouses to try for <br />two months. The Commissioners noted that at some point in the future the <br />City will need to consider building a permanent public restroom. The <br />Commissioners felt that the best location for a permanent restroom would <br />be at the Trailside Park near the picnic shelter. <br /> <br /> Splash Park <br /> <br /> Discussion was held regarding the building of a splash park. Discussion <br />took place regarding the splash park that is being built in Royalton. Chair <br />Malecha stated that a committee must be formed to do research on splash <br />parks. She stated that she and Craig Nagel would volunteer to be on the <br />committee. It was decided that the cost, location, size, and related issues <br />must be studied before moving forward. <br /> <br />7. Adjournment <br /> <br /> There being no further business, COMMISSIONER BRUCH MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER GIBBONS SECONDED <br />THE MOTION.
