Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br /> Commissioner Bruch called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Consider Agenda <br /> <br /> The agenda was approved. <br /> <br />3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> <br /> COMMISSIONER GIBBONS MOVED TO APPROVE THE 6/13/2013 <br />PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />5. Trailside Park <br /> <br />• Bike Racks - Mike Loven asked the Commissioners to confirm the <br />location of the bike racks and the material and shape of the bike <br />rack pads. After much discussion, the Park Commission indicated <br />that they would like the bike racks to be located at the Crosswalks <br />and that the pads should be made of concrete in a rectangular <br />shape. <br /> <br /> COMMISSIONER GIBBONS MOVED TO AUTHORIZE MIKE <br /> LOVEN TO INSTALL THE BIKE RACKS AT THE CROSSWALKS <br /> WITH THE BIKE PADS MADE OF CONCRETE AND IN A <br /> RETANGULAR SHAPE. COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0, <br /> <br />• Irrigation System – Mike Loven informed the Commission that the <br />irrigation system on the north end of Trailside Park has been <br />installed and is working. <br /> <br />• Trailside Park Acquisition Update – Clerk Peine stated that she is <br />still working with the DNR to finalize the City’s acquisition of <br />Trailside Park. <br />
