PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br />THURSDAY, DECEMBER I 1, 2014 <br />CITY HALL <br />Members Present: Chair Malecha, Commissioners Ettesvold, Nagel, Bruch, and <br />Ronning <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Gibbons and Caouette <br />Also Present:Nancy Adams, Mayor; Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Mike Loven, Public <br />Works Supervisor <br />1. Call Meetins to Order <br />Chair Malecha called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm <br />2. Consider Asenda <br />COMMISSIONER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. <br />COMMISSIONER BRUCH SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5.0. <br />3. 11113/14 Park Commission Minutes <br />COMMISSIONER RONNING MOVED TO APPROVE THE 1111312014 PARK <br />COMMISSION M¡NUTES. COMMISSIONER NAGEL SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5.0. <br />4. Dos Park Update <br />Mike Loven reported that a highway sign to identify the dog park does not meet <br />MnDOT's criteria and will not be allowed. <br />The Park Commission reviewed the Dog Park Rules and made a few changes to <br />the proposed rules. The Commissioners requested that the rules be reviewed by <br />the LMC Loss Control Attorney. The Commissioners noted that if the attorney <br />approves, Mike Loven can go ahead and have a sign made with the rules on the <br />sign. <br />Mike Loven stated that the permit from MnDOT is ready for the playground in <br />Trailside Park. He indicated that they will have to know what the length of the <br />fence will be. The Park Commission decided that the fence should be placed <br />about 8 feet from the playground to allow for mowing. <br />5. Other Business <br />There was no other business. The Commission moved to the garage to <br />assemble the float for the light parade.
