PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION MINUTES <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />THURSDAY, JULY 17,2014 <br />TRAILSIDE PARK <br />Members Present: Chair Malecha, Commissioners Ettesvold, Bruch, and Nagel <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Gibbons <br />Also Present Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Mike Loven, Public Works Supervisor; <br />Council Member Sjoblad and Mayor Adams <br />5:00 P.M. <br />The Park Commission met with a representative of St. Croix Recreation to look at <br />options for playground equipment. Several playground options were reviewed. The <br />Commission suggested that wood fiber be used for the floor of the playground as <br />opposed to a rubberized turf due to cost. The Commission also discussed the possibility <br />of a splash park. St. Croix Recreation can supply a splash park. <br />6:00 P.M. <br />The Park Commission met with the Planning Commission at Trailside Park to discuss <br />the Trailside Park component of the comp plan. <br />Respectfu lly submitted, <br />4 <br />Sandra A.
