City
Pett ? AGENDA ITEM #5
Lakes
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Report Prepared by: WSN
Date: April 21, 2015
Subject: Trailside Park Restrooms
Report: Attached are two possible options for review and
discussion based on the discussion by the council at
Tuesday night's (April 7th) meeting. They are both the
same in size and shape. The difference between the two are
the material selections. As you will see noted on Option
"A" the upper portion of the building would be the
burnished CMU and the lower portion simulated stone.
Option "B" the upper portion again would be the burnished
CMU, but the lower portion would be a split face CMU
adding some texture. On option "B" the split face CMU
cost wise would be similar to the burnished CMU and
therefore the only additional construction costs on this
option would be the decorative brackets. I have contacted
the manufacturer of the anti-graffiti coating and it looks as
though this coating can also be applied to either the split
face CMU or the simulated stone as well. The decorative
brackets I have noted as painted metal in lieu of timber
