PROCEDURES OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />PEQUOT LAKES, MINNESOTA <br />Adopted: June 6, 2006 <br />Amended: February 3, 2009 <br />Amended: March 5, 2013 <br />I. MEETINGS <br />A. Open Meetings. All Council and Council committee meetings, including special <br />and adjourned meetings, with the exception of closed meetings as defined, shall be open <br />to the public. All meetings and notices of meetings are subject to Minnesota Statute 13D <br />Minnesota Open Meeting Law. <br />B. Quoru m. At all Council meetings, a majority of the elected Council Members <br />shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. <br />C. Council Meetings. <br />Regular Meetings — The City Council shall meet on the first Tuesday of <br />each month at 6:30 p.m. All meetings, including special, recessed, and <br />continued meetings shall be held in the City Hall Council Chambers <br />unless otherwise designated. <br />2. Special Meetings — Special meetings of the Council may be called by the <br />Mayor or by any two (2) Council Members by written request, filed with <br />the City Clerk at least three (3) days before the meeting. The City Clerk <br />shall mail a notice to all Council Members, at least one day before the <br />meeting, stating the date, time, place, and purpose of the meeting.
