City Council Minutes <br /> February 3, 2015 <br /> Page 6 of 7 <br /> MAYOR SJOBLAD MOVED TO REAPPOINT CINDY ROGGENKAMP <br /> TO THE EDC FOR A THREE-YEAR TERM TO EXPIRE ON 12/31/2017. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.3. Organizational Structure <br /> The City Clerk presented the Council with a proposal from David Drown <br /> Associates to facilitate a process to help the Council determine the long- <br /> term management structure for the City. The analysis will evaluate <br /> whether having an administrator would be of benefit to the organization or <br /> whether another option would be better. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> PROPOSAL FROM DAVID DROWN ASSOCIATES FOR THE CLERK'S <br /> OFFICE STRUCTURE ANALYSIS. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.4. Assignment of Donation <br /> The City Clerk noted that in 2014 the City received a donation of$3,500 <br /> from Lakes State Bank for the general fund. She explained that the <br /> Council can assign this money for a specific future use. <br /> The Council discussed assigning the funds to the Trailside Park restroom <br /> project or the Sibley Lake Park Steps. Council Member Akerson <br /> suggested letting the Park Commission make a recommendation to the <br /> Council as to how they would like to see the funds assigned. The Council <br /> concurred. <br /> 11. Other Business <br /> Council Member Akerson requested the Clerk to look at the possibility of <br /> hiring a full time grant writer. The Clerk suggested discussing this with <br /> NJPA to see if they have grant writing services available. <br /> 12. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> MOVED TO ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> The meeting of the City Council adjourned at 7:23 p.m. <br />
