Call Meeting to Order <br /> M'`'r-,' <br /> Mayor Sjoblad called the meeting of .yequot Lakes City Council to <br /> order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 1.1 Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Mayor Sjoblad lel with the Pledge o Allegiance. <br /> 1.5. Hiahwav 71 DiscuiSiOn <br /> f fi, <br /> Jim Hallgren reviewed the Highway 371 project map. Corridors of <br /> Co , erce funding has been received which has advanced construction <br /> from 2018 to 2016. Due to the identification of the northern Long-eared <br /> bat, cleating and grubbing must be done between January and April 2016. <br /> With the decision by MnDOT to go with design-build instead of design-bid- <br /> build, June 1, 2015 is the deadline for tying up needed agreements on the <br /> project. The overall budget for the project is $58,000,000. Jim Hallgren <br /> walked through the layout of the map and touched on specific project <br /> details that will affect the City. The City will be responsible for cost <br /> participation and funding of various parts of the project. Some of the areas <br /> that the City will be required to fund include a portion of the interchange <br /> via agreement with the County, 25% funding participation for the signal at <br /> C.R. 16, and electrical costs for lighting of certain intersections. <br />
