As a result of that upcoming <br /> transition, the City of Pequot Lakes has requested a proposal from David Drown Associates to <br /> facilitate a process to help the City Council determine the appropriate long term management <br /> structure for the organization. Specifically,the City is interested in analyzing the whether <br /> having an administrator would be of benefit to the organization. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF DAVID DROWN ASSOCIATES <br /> For 17 years, David Drown Associates (DDA) has provided Financial Solutions,Tax Increment <br /> Financing, Economic Development, Strategic Planning, Executive Searches and other services to <br /> cities and counties throughout Minnesota. With over 250 local government clients,we have a <br /> deep understanding of the workings of local government in Minnesota. <br /> DDA was founded to enhance the quality of services to municipalities in Minnesota. If DDA is <br /> selected to conduct this analysis, the City of Pequot Lakes will receive the most comprehensive <br /> and highest quality service available. <br /> SERVICE PROVIDER <br /> Gary Weiers will lead this process. He joined DDA in 2013 after completing over 20 years of <br /> county government management experience,the last 11 years as County Administrator in Rice <br /> County. Gary received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of St.Thomas and has honed <br /> his skills by working his way up from an entry level social worker position to be the head of a <br /> $50 million organization with over 350 employees. <br /> Since joining DDA, Gary has conducted organizational studies, administrator searches, strategic <br /> planning and provided other related services. An organizational analysis was recently <br /> completed for the City of Howard Lake and one is presently taking place for the City of Gaylord. <br />
