Mayor Sjoblad stated that only those who <br /> use the City sewer utility would pay. <br /> Council Member Pederson stated that the cost of the RIB is based on the <br /> City selling land. He noted that the possibility of the City not selling the <br /> land should be reflected in the cost by raising the $1.7 million to $2 million. <br /> Council Member Pederson also noted that if MnDOT moves the road over <br /> 1300 feet the City wouldn't have to do anything at this time. Tim Houle <br /> noted that there could be lowland environmental llenges. <br /> Tim Houle stated that further comments or questions mould be directed <br /> him prior to the February City Council Meeting. The draft Will be finalized <br /> and presented to the Council in February and hopefully submitted to the <br /> MPCA following Council approval. <br /> Mayor Sjoblad closed the public hearing. <br /> 6. Planning and Zonings <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Meeting Liaisons <br /> Dawn Bittner reviewed the Planning Commission Liaison schedule and the <br /> need for an additional<ouncil member to attend the planning commission. <br /> 6.2. Planning and Zoning Department Year-end Report <br /> Dawn Bittnereviewed the year-end report with the Council. She <br /> explained that 77% of the applications do not go to the planning <br /> commission and are dealt.with over the counter at city hall. <br /> 7. Fire <br /> The fire report was reviewed by the Council. <br /> 8. Police Department <br /> 8.1. Request to Purchase Police Vehicle <br /> Chief Klang requested authorization to purchase a 2015 Police Package <br /> Chevy Tahoe from Dondelinger at $33,781.
