City of � ;_ <br />1'equotl <br />Lakes <br />AGENDA ITEM #9.2 <br />REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL <br />Report Prepared bN : Rich Spiczka, Cite Administrator <br />Date: May 1 St, 2023 <br />Subiect: 9' Avenue Construction Proposal <br />Report: After a joint work session with the Loon Lake Township Board and <br />getting bids for construction on 9' Avenue, City staff is recommending some <br />gravel construction for the majority of 9t' avenue, including shaving down the hill <br />for safety, along with adding pavement to allow traffic to be on asphalt from Krist <br />Court to County Road 112. The specific bids are attached: <br />Schrupp Excavating- gravel and hill reduction- $37,578 <br />Anderson Brothers- paving from County Road 114 to Krist Court- $20,019.50 <br />*The bid from Anderson Brothers has expired, but they have assured no <br />more than an 8% increase to the bid attached. <br />In order to assure funds to complete, We are going into the project with an <br />expectation of no more than a $63,000 budget to account for any change orders. <br />That would put the City of Pequot Lakes portion at $31,500. <br />Council Action Requested: Council motion approving $31,500 for the 91 Ave <br />project. <br />
