City of <br />Pequot <br />Lakes = - <br />Water/Wastewater Report — April 2023 <br />Water Dept. <br />Facilitv Performance for March 2023: <br />Flow <br />Average daily gallons pumped: 106,000 gallons <br />Maximum daily gallons pumped: <br />151,000 gallons <br />Minimum daily gallons pumped: <br />62,000 gallons <br />Total monthly gallons pumped: <br />3,178,000 gallons <br />Wastewater Dept. <br />Facility Performance for March 2023: <br />Flow <br />Average Daily Flow: 68,218 gallons (Design—121,795 gal/day) <br />Maximum Daily Flow: 76,864 gallons <br />Minimum Daily Flo 57,541 gallons <br />Total Monthly Flow: 2,114,762 gallons <br />Operations Report <br />1) Water treatment facility inspections were completed daily. <br />2) Wastewater pond and facilities checks were done each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. <br />3) Monthly lift station preventative maintenance was completed on 4/19. <br />4) Weekly water testing was completed each Monday. <br />5) Monitoring wells were sampled in both Pequot Lakes and Lake Shore. <br />6) Water meters were read on 4/20. <br />7) Monthly Fluoride Report was submitted to Minnesota Department of Health on 4/3. <br />8) Monthly Discharge Monitoring Report for the WWTP was submitted to MPCA on 4/3. <br />9) The City received a call for a sewer backup on Brown street on 4/6. The backup was <br />investigated and we had the line flowing shortly thereafter. The following day, Nelson <br />Sanitation televised the line for us and found a piece of concrete stuck in the pipe. <br />Luckily, we were able to retrieve the debris with the jetter and the line is clear now.. <br />10) Now that the snow is gone I can finally get going on some of the seasonal maintenance <br />that typically occurs a little earlier in April. Hydrant flushing/repairs, valve exercising, <br />and prepping the spray irrigation system are a few things I'll be working on in the <br />coming weeks.
