ORDINANCE NUMBER 23 -XX, SECOND SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING ACCESSORY STRUCTURE IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES COUNTY OF CROW WING STATE OF MINNESOTA The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: Purpose and Intent: The purpose and intent of this ordinance is to amend Chapter 17 of the Pequot Lakes City Code regarding accessory structures in Residential Zones. Amendment: Chapter 17, Article 5 shall be amended as follows: Section 17 -5.6 RURAL RESIDENTIAL ( RR') 1. Performance_ Standards. The following performance standards apply to all development in this zone: E. Accessoy Structure. A permit shall not be required for up to two accessory structures totaling no more than 160 square feet. Accessory structures shall meet all zoning requirements in this Section. Ground- mounted solar panel installations shall not count against this limit. Section 17-5.7 TRANSITION RESIDENTIAL (TR) 1. Performance Standards. The following performance standards apply to all development in this zone: D. Accessory Structure.
