This expenditure would be paid from the 2014 <br /> Roads & Streets capital outlay budget. I would like to <br /> purchase the truck this year instead of waiting to purchase <br /> it in 2016 with an equipment certificate. I also received a <br /> truck quote from the State bid contract vendor, Midway <br /> Ford Commercial in Roseville. Their quote indicated a <br /> price of approximately $25,000. While this quote is <br /> approximately $300 less, I am recommending to purchase <br /> the truck from Mills Ford due to locality, comparable price, <br /> and satisfied service experience. <br /> I am also requesting authorization to purchase a Hiniker <br /> 9 1/2 foot poly V-plow from Meyer Midwest in Brainerd at a <br /> cost of$6,850, which includes a dealer and municipal <br />
