Discussion ensued regarding removing maximum building height in residential zones, <br /> maximum height is measured at the midpoint of roof between the eave and peak and <br /> allowing accessory structures up to 25 feet on residential zoned lots. <br /> Mr. Burslie stated the county has an ordinance allowing 2 accessory structures up to i6o <br /> sq ft without a permit per parcel in residential zones. Discussion ensued regarding <br /> whether the Commission would like to continue requiring permits for small accessory <br /> structures.The Planning Commission would like to remove the requirement for permits <br /> for small accessory structures mirroring the County standards in residential zones. <br /> 6. Old Business <br /> None <br /> 7. Approval of Minutes <br /> 7.1 Approval of July 24, 2023, Meeting Minutes <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member E. Larson seconded <br /> by Planning Commission Member Johnson,to approve the July 24, 2023, <br /> Minutes. All members voted"aye". Motion carried, 6-o. <br /> 8. P&Z Administrator's Report <br /> 8.1 Permits and Correspondence <br /> 8.2 Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions <br /> 9. Adjournment <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Ellering, seconded by <br /> Planning Commission Member Johnson,to adjourn the meeting. All <br /> members voted"aye".
