➢ Assisted with removing heavy debris from the bottom and cleaning off
the intake screens for the pumps while assisting in the equipment
handling to the repair person.
➢ Were able to remove one test ball from the secondary pond, while the
other one required the assistance from the diver.
➢ With both gates in the closed position, water from the secondary pond
was still leaking back into the pit. After the water level stabilized, the
gate to the primary pond is holding the water back from entering the
pond.
➢ Water from the secondary was then lowered back to the primary pond
for winter.
• The pumping pit has been covered with insulation and a tarp to minimize water
freezing.
• All fall maintenance has been completed on all the irrigators and the system
prepared for winter.
• Have calculated pond storage availability for winter and will have enough for the
winter months.
Miscellaneous:
The Mutual Aid agreement with Pine River has been working out fine and would ask
to extend this agreement for another year.Refer to attached letter:
Report Submitted By: Gary Giltner
Water/Wastewater Supervisor
City of Peauot Lakes
3
