PARK COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes <br /> Monday August 2Sth,2023 <br /> 5:00 p.m. <br /> City Hall <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Meeting called to order at 5:01 <br /> Commissioners in attendance: <br /> Adams, Lind, Clement, Churack,Simar, Boucher <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> Motion by Churack, second by Clement to approve as presented <br /> Motion carried 6-0 <br /> 3. Approval of July Park Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> Motion by Lind,Seconded by Clement to Approve minutes <br /> Motion carried 6-0 <br /> 4. Tree Grant/Study Presentation <br /> a. Sibley Lake Park <br /> Commissioner Simar spoke on potential separate tree plan for Sibley Lake Park. <br /> No ash borer concern in SLP,but nice Red pines that could benefit from <br /> thinning. Park is in overall good condition with erosion concern where <br /> old steps were. No tree inventory needed in SLP so plan to exclude from <br /> Tree Study proposal. Commissioner Simar volunteered to put a plan <br /> together for SLP. <br /> Commissioner Adams motioned to Sibley Lake Park separate study. Churack seconded. <br /> Motion carried 6-0. <br /> Commissioner Simar motioned, seconded by Churack to do a Tree study in all public <br /> parks except Mayo and Sibley Lake Park. <br /> Motion passed 6-0. <br />
