1. Accrual of Vacation and Sick Leave Benefits. An employee who is
receiving worker's compensation benefits shall continue to accumulate
additional vacation and sick leave benefits for a period of up to six months.
2. Health Insurance. An employee who is receiving worker's
compensation benefits will continue to be covered under the City's group
health insurance under the same conditions and at the same level of City
contribution as would have been provided prior to receiving workers'
compensation benefits for up to a six-month period.
If there are changes in the City's contribution levels while the employee is
on leave, those changes will take place as if the employee were still on the
job.
