EXHIBIT A NOTICE OF REDEMPTION General Obligation Improvement Bonds,Series 2004A Dated October 27,2004 City of Pequot Lakes,Minnesota NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that by order of the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes,Minnesota,there have been called for redemption and prepayment on February 1,2009 the following outstanding bonds of the City designated as General Obligation Improvement Bonds, Series 2004A,dated October 27, 2004: Maturity Date Principal Amount Interest Rate CUSIP Number* February 1,2010 $30,000 3.500% 713550 BS9 February 1,2013 110,000 4.000% 713550 BT7 February 1,2014 40,000 4.125% 713550 BU4 February 1, 2015 45,000 4.250% 713550 BV2 The bonds are being called at a price of 100%of their principal amount plus accrued interest to February 1, 2009, on which date they will cease to bear interest. Holders of such bonds hereby called for redemption should present their Bonds for payment to Bond Trust Services Corporation,3060 Centre Pointe Drive,Suite 110,Roseville,Minnesota 55113 on or before February 1, 2009.
